Crafter inquiry

I am attempting a new craft project I saw at a fair. I would like to use some kind of finish on photos. Will matte varnish or diamond glaze harm photos. I looked online, but could not find the same project. Give me some expertise.

Leslie, Nope it won't, either one is photo safe. But if you are nervous you can always make colored copies of your photos.
