A HUGE project

We are in the middle of a HUGE, and I do mean, HUGE project. Hubby wanted to get this done before the little one gets here... and since I am 30 weeks this week (which technically could only mean 8 weeks to go for me.... knowing my record) we are in the midst of a new patio.




He started this last Friday evening.... can you believe how far he's gotten? He has a little more than half of it dug already. We are replacing the deck with a brick patio. We've always liked the look and we are finally able to do it. Go figure though, as soon as he decided to take on this project it has rained every other day. : (

So the kids were dying to "help". : ) Here are their clothes after....



Notice the shoes... this is why we always have a pair of play shoes. : ) You never know when the opportunity to get all muddy is going to happen. Best be prepared. : )

The only other comment I have right now is.... what could this baby (the other two were like this too) possibly be doing in there? It's like "kidney bean" (that's what the baby has come to be affectionately known as around here) is doing somersaults and backflips... it's craziness!!!
