As some of you have already heard, Ashley White's (from MTO and PDO teacher) house was struck by lightning and burned down the other day. Thankfully, they are all safe, however, they have lost everything. ECG will be collecting giftcards or funds to purchase giftcards to help them out. Most urgently they will all need new clothes including the parents, Ashley and Chris, and the kids (daughters Griffin 11? and Gentry 9? and son Geiger 5).
So the most helpful giftcards would be from either Target, Kohl's, The Gap, or Simon Mall. There will be a collection box in the Fellowship Hall this Sunday. Or you may drop things off with the receptionist during the week. ECG will be taking collections until Aug. 16th.
