A few ladies at Stir Crazy were discussing the upcoming downtown event where you can eat at some premier restaurants for a relatively inexpensive price. It is called Devour Downtown Winterfest and starts January 19 and runs through the 31st. It includes places like Ruth's Chris, Oceanaire, St. Elmo's, PF Chang, Shula's, etc. where you can eat there for $30 per plate or $30 for 2, depending on the restaurant. We did this last year (except I thought I remembered it being in the spring?). We went to St. Elmo's and it was really nice to eat "fancy" and not for much. (They had 3 dinners for $30). We split it and of course it was still plenty. : )
They have one in June, too.
