My name is Allie Wilmes and I'm contacting you from Fleishman-Hillard on behalf of Hallmark. Since you often share deals and tips with your readers and have two little ones of your own at home, I wanted to share a free, family event to launch a new product coming to your backyard!
The product is Text Bands — a cool, brand-new way for kids to let friends know what's on their mind. Text Bands allow kids to send text messages wristband to wristband, expressing themselves and spreading encouragement in a fun, new way. How? Kids enter up to 10 characters into the screen on the band and bump fists or shake hands to pass the message. The bands will light up and the messages will transfer from band to band.
Teen stars including Cody Simpson and Demi Lovato have already jumped on the Text Band wagon and now you can get a sneak peek right in your backyard!

The free Hallmark Text Bands party will feature two hours of Radio Disney Rockin' Road Crew who will lead kids in fun activities. All kids will receive two free Hallmark Text Bands — one for them and one for a friend (while supplies last) — as well as a Text Bands "Oath" card which encourages positive and uplifting communication among kids. During the Text Bands party, families also can enter to win a variety of prizes, including four Six Flags tickets, a trip for four to Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, Calif. and Kelly Clarkson concert tickets.
Bring a letter or greeting card for pop star Cody Simpson and Hallmark hand deliver it to Cody. Hallmark is collecting fan mail for Cody at parties across the country to deliver to him at his private listening party with Hallmark and Text Bands in Chicago later this summer. Cody Simpson fans also can enter for a chance to win a Cody Simpson autographed Text Band!
